Synopsis
We would like to thank all the members of MMJAXFL
for attending the "Makar Sankrant" event hosted in a beautiful venue
along the St. John’s River. It was a huge success with members and
their
families participating enthusiastically in the entertainment
and games. The catering provided by Flavors restaurant was plentiful
and delicious. Additionally, freshly made Tilgul was air-mailed
from India for the event. Children’s snacks included Fruit & Nut
Bars and Cheese Crackers. Parting gifts for the ladies for Sankrant
Vaan consisted of a decorative Batwa containing a mini Kalanirnay
calendar and Bindi packet. A special thanks to all our volunteers,
participants, sponsors, and patrons. We are also appreciative of
the parents who assisted in supervising the children at our new
venue. We hope that all of our members continue to support and
encourage us throughout the remainder of the year.

This was a puzzle to guess Marathi words. Puzzle consisted of two parts both had scrambled words related to Sankrant. All participants were engrossed in solving the puzzle and really enjoyed it. Winner was "Mrs. Tanvi Ghangarekar" and there was tie for runner up position between "Mr. Anil Pathak" and "Mrs. Suvarna Tilak". You can check out the sample answer sheet here
