Introduction

Maharashtra Mandal Jacksonville, FL was founded
in Jan 2005 as a cultural, educational,
non-profit organization. It is a rapidly
growing group of Marathi culture
loving people in Jacksonville, Florida.
Marathi Mandal's New year starts in January.
Programs during the year include:
Sankrant, Gudhi Padwa, Ganesh Chaturthi,
Diwali,Sports Day & Picnic.

Mission Statement

The purpose of Maharashtra Mandal is to
unite the Marathi Indian community
in the United States with the goal of
preserving & promoting its cultural heritage
as well as passing it over to the next generation.

Objectives

  a.  To educate children in the language, culture, and music of India.
  b.  To enrich the cultural heritage of Marathi community by promoting its music,
         literature and social traditions.
